Why is the name Xcoin?
“Xcoin” is a placeholder. It’s not the final name of the project.
The real name of the coin and blockchain will be revealed shortly before the official launch.
This decision is intentional—and strategic.
Why the name is kept secret (for now)
- To prevent scams and impersonation — Scammers often copy project names to launch fake tokens before the real one appears.
- To stop hype trading — Keeping the name private avoids early speculation, listings, and domain squatting.
- To protect trademark registration — The legal process is still underway—revealing the name early could delay or compromise protection.
- To keep focus on the technology, not the brand — Serious users and investors care about what it does—not just what it’s called.
- To ensure a fair launch — Early access goes to real supporters, not bots or opportunists chasing a name.
When will the name be revealed?
At the final stage—right before launch—when:
- The blockchain is ready
- The DAO is live
- Legal protections are in place
- Listings and infrastructure are secured
Until then, “Xcoin” is used as a stand-in.
The real name stays off the radar—for all the right reasons.
