Xcoin follows a strict hard-cap model: the total supply of Xcoins is permanently limited to 21 million coins. No additional coins can ever be created — not by miners, not by developers, not by governance proposals. This limit is enforced cryptographically at the protocol level and cannot be changed.

This design is inspired by Bitcoin’s original deflationary vision, but improved with modern architecture. Unlike traditional fiat currencies that lose value through inflationary printing, or even some cryptocurrencies that rely on rewards and emissions, Xcoin guarantees that the purchasing power of your holdings will never be diluted by supply expansion.

Why Fixed Supply Matters

Inflation erodes value — slowly in stable economies, and catastrophically in failing ones. When new currency is constantly introduced into circulation, the value of what you already hold decreases. This is true whether the inflation rate is 2% per year or 200% in crisis conditions.

Most cryptocurrencies today include some form of supply expansion: staking rewards, mining subsidies, emissions schedules. These mechanisms create constant downward pressure on price, and reward only those who are positioned to extract value — often at the expense of others.

Xcoin rejects that model.

🚫 No Mining, No Staking, No Rewards

Xcoin does not use mining or staking to secure the network. That means:

  • No inflationary block rewards
  • No “rich get richer” staking incentives
  • No energy-hungry proof-of-work emissions
  • No validator subsidy tokens

All transaction fees are redistributed directly within the system, without ever increasing the total supply.

Supply Integrity by Design

The fixed supply is enforced through cryptographic constraints in the genesis rules and cannot be modified through upgrades or governance proposals. There is no hidden reserve, no developer fund, and no pre-mine inflation schedule.
